Skiing lover Go to Auli hills-India

I am a skiing lover I think that Auli is one of the best place of India for Skiing.

Auli is in the State of Uttaranchal.Located inthe north-eastern corner of chamoli District in Garhwal, 15 km SE of Joshimath and 492 km NE of Delhi.You can go from Delhi by NH58 to Joshimath via Roorkee,Rishikesh, Srinagar,Radraprayag,Nandaprayag and Chamoli.The best time for going is December and March when Auli is carpeted with snow and the temperature in below zero.Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam offers skiing learning courses- 7 day non-certificate and 14 day certificate courses for the beginners from January to March.Some Private people do the same.

Pauri

An impressive welcome awaits the visitor travelling up the kotdwar road for pauri.As you drive past the tiny village of bubakhal, the mighty Chaukhamba thrusting into the sky on the hdrizon heralds your arrival at the threshold of the Gods.Puri is at 5,950 ft on the slopes of the Kandoliya hills,110 km from kotdwar and 303 km NE of Delhi. Route from Delhi are:NH58 to Meerut via Modinagar;state highway to pauri via Bijnore,Najibabad,Kotdwar,Dugadda and Satpuri.The best time is from March to June and September to November.Places to be seen are:-Kandoliya and Bubakhal; Chaukhanba Viewpoint;Freshwater spring in Dwarikhal forest ;Kyunkaleshwar Mahadev ;Ransi ;Adwani ;Srinagar is 30 km from here (The former capital of Tehi Garhwal ) and Khirsu is 45 km from here. Nearest railhead is Kotdwar it is 110 km.
